Annual Event Grants

The Fort Pierre Tourism and Promotion Council (FPTPC) is now accepting applications for its 2026 Event Grants, aimed at boosting overnight tourism in Fort Pierre. Tourism promoters, including individuals, businesses, and organizations, are encouraged to apply by March 15, 2026. Applicants will be notified of grant approval or denial by April 15, 2026, via a notification letter.

The FPTPC Tourism Event Grant provides funding to support new events, innovative projects, or the expansion of existing events that attract visitors to Fort Pierre, with a particular focus on increasing overnight stays at local hotels and accommodations. Grants range from $250 to $2,500 and require a 50% cash match.

Applicants must submit an application that includes a detailed budget, event goals, event history (if applicable), matching funds information, and marketing plans.
